Welcome back, friends, to the Summer of Lovecraft. For the next three months I'll be reviewing movies and books based on the work of HP Lovecraft, and providing a humorous running commentary.

This week I have a movie I've promised to review for a while now. I finally got to it. It has a surprisingly all star cast (Fred Ward, David Warner, Clancy Brown, Julianne Moore, etc.), and is actually a pretty decent film.
